Connell Associates Inc. was founded in 1984 by Brendan Connell, formerly with the Instruments Products Section of the General Electric Company, to support a world-wide customer base. Over time, two distinct but complementary activities developed:

The first was the distribution of instrument products from companies such as Estelline Angus, Yokogawa, LFE, GE and Instrument Transformers Inc (ITI).

The second was supply management and strategic purchasing for major manufacturers and projects. Some of Connell Associates’ major projects, include:

•    Purchasing, shipping, assembling and start up of a power project for a mine in Peru;
•    Supplying equipment for reconstruction of oil refineries in Kuwait;
•    Sourcing high temperature fasteners for turbine manufacturers in Brazil;
•    Establishing supply management systems for motor manufacturers in Brazil.

In addition, major American and global companies have relied on Connell Associates for logistical services and financial consulting, especially working with letters of credit. We have saved many companies money by finding competitive freight rates and negotiating letters of credit without errors.
